Upgrade your current signage with the Maverick LED Exit Sign Retrofit Kit, designed to meet Chicago's strict safety standards. Our retrofit kit is simple to install and smoothly integrates with most Box and Edgelit Signs while eliminating the need for grounding. The kit includes a 3.5W COB LED light source, providing 400 lumens of bright white illumination. It is made from UL-listed thermoconductive plastic and features compact dimensions of 9-1/2" x 1-1/16" x 3/4" with 2' leads. This maintenance-free solution comes with a 10-year Limited Warranty and is eligible for rebates.

Emergency Bug Eye 2 Heads

For dependable emergency lighting, Our Emergency Bug Eye 2 Heads is the ideal choice. Backed by a five-year warranty, it features dual 6V/12V 12W halogen lamp heads and supports dual 120V/277V voltage. Chicago Approved Exit Signs Standards

In Chicago, exit signs must meet these specific requirements - 

1. They should be rectangular 20 gauge sheet metal boxes with a glass or plastic face. 

2. The lettering on the sign should be stenciled with red on a white background, and the letters and arrows on the exit signs must be red.

3. The directional arrows should be positioned below the sign lettering and be the same width as the lettering. 

4. Additionally, all exit signs need to be internally illuminated, requiring at least a 10-watt electric lamp.
